Josh and Juli Turner have been serving the Birmingham area for 9 years. Josh has known he wanted to pastor since he was a teenager. Before moving to the Birmingham area, they served together at a church in Gulfport, Mississippi, for six years. They are now raising three lively boys.
Our Story
My wife and I were reared in Christian homes and were both saved at a young age. We both have had the opportunity to be a part of some great churches and attended two amazing Christian schools. We met in Bible college, and we were married in 2006.
A few years later, God lead us to serve the community of Gulfport, Mississippi. God gave us three boys. In June of 2014, God led us from Gulfport to the Birmingham area to start ChristView Baptist Church. We have been with ChristView for 9 years.
This past winter our church was given the opportunity to join together with Pine View Baptist Church of Irondale. The two churches decided to merge, and we are now Hilltop Baptist Church. Our vision for the Birmingham area is to see souls saved and to provide encouragement in spiritual growth by a relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to build strong families through the local church and to love people.
